Please allow me to introduce you to Renaissance Knife & Tool and take a minute to explain our mission in the printing industry, and our differences in comparison to other suppliers.
Started in 2002, RKT’s most important difference from other vendors is the Owners / Operators have over 50 years in plant, “hands on”, printing experience. The owner, Marty Rowe, has been a Folder Specialist for printers and vendors alike, and a Project Engineer with 27 years of service experience. He knows the function of every part we sell and knows how it should work. Our other employees come from printing backgrounds, ranging from Customer Service to Equipment Services.
Another difference you will find when doing business with RKT is we operate as a matrix- style company. This means we make some of the parts in our own shop, and we partner with suppliers that offer the best product in their field. Our bindery knife supplier, for example, is Kanefusa USA: an industry leader that has made bindery knifes for almost 100 years, and continues to improve its product with its large R&D staff. We negotiate the best prices for quality product items, and pass the savings on to you.
Our main focus at RKT is supplying a part with value to our customers. We are committed to spending time and resources to find ways to help our customers meet their goals. Like you, we are disturbed by the trend in the industry toward “cheap” parts. We know your business goals depend upon runtime and only quality parts can extend this process.
