Please allow me to introduce you to our company Renaissance Knife & Tool and take a minute to explain our mission in the printing industry.

Started in 2002 RKT’s most important difference in other vendors is that the Owners / Operators of RKT have over 50 years of in the plant, hands on, printing background. The owner (Marty Rowe) has been a Folder Specialist for printers and vendors alike and a Project Engineer with 27 years service. He knows the function of ever part we sell and knows how it should work. Our other employs also come from printing backgrounds from Customer service to Equipment services. The other main difference in RKT is that we have set it up as a “Matrix” style company. This means we make some of the parts in our own shop and we partner with suppliers that we feel offer the best of the market of other parts. Our bindery knife supplier, for example, is Kanefusa USA; a company that has made bindery knifes for almost 100 years and continues to improve its product with a large R&D staff. We negotiate the best prices for the best items and pass the savings on to you.

Our main focus at RKT is on supplying a part with value to our customers. We are committed to spending time and resources to find ways to help our customers meet their goals. We are however disturbed by the trend in the industry toward “Cheap” parts. We know your business goals depend on runtime and runtime is not usually associated with “Cheap”.  RKT’s goal is to supply a part that will serve you by extending your runtime and limiting your downtime. We feel the true cost of a part is not in the up front cost but in the lifetime of the part cost.
